About Me...

My name is Mark Spontarelli.
I live in Kenmore.
My major is Special Education - Moderate to Intensive Intervention Specialist.
I am an Education Aide for Blick Clinic Alternative Education. I work with students who primarily have autism, but have many other developmental/intellectual disabilities as well. I have been working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities for 4 years now being an aide for students and working in Day Programs for adults.
My goal as a teacher is to work with students with developmental disabilities. I want them to have fun learning. Not just academically, but also while learning life skills so that my students will feel a sense of independence as the years go on. I want my classroom to be the least restrictive environment for them so they will feel comfortable and encouraged to learn.
